In contrast, the serpent, coiled in shadows, represents the primordial force that dwells within all things. Their union suggests a profound truth: that light and darkness are inextricably linked.
Through their representation, we are reminded that even in the darkest hour, hope can emerge. The lotus teaches us to find enlightenment amidst chaos, while the serpent reminds us to accept the unknown.

A Parable of the Burning House
A wise master once told a powerful story about a house on fire. The people inside were trapped unaware, and as the heat grew stronger, they realized their peril. Some were scared, others were in denial. But a few, with clarity of mind, began gathering possessions. They knew that only by acting quickly could they escape.
The parable serves as a powerful lesson about the importance of being equipped for hardships in life. Just as the house on fire represents our lives, we must be aware of potential dangers. When difficulty strikes, we should not be confused but rather act with thoughtfulness.
The parable also emphasizes the necessity of attention on what is truly important. While it's easy to become consumed by material possessions, they will not help us in times of crisis. Instead, we should value things that are truly permanent, such as love, understanding, and faith.
